Please Join Us Today in Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.
Who We’re Praying For Today
England: Pray for Peter Sherwood who is due to appear in court on February 3 following false allegations when he was preaching the gospel in the West Midlands area of England in September 2019. Pray that the Holy Spirit gives Peter the words to speak, that the hearing is just and that Peter is found not guilty.
North Korea: Pray for secret believers in North Korea to make it safely through the winter with enough food. Food is often scarce in North Korea, especially this winter following the recent drought. However, even in the midst of this difficulty, Christians often share a portion of their rice with their neighbors — a practice called “holy rice.”
Kenya: Pray for healing and strength for the children and teachers at Kamuthe Primary School in Garissa. In the early hours of January 13, three Christian teachers were killed by the Somali-based terror group al-Shabaab. The armed militants ambushed Kamuthe village around 2:00 a.m., targeting the school’s resource center that hosted the teachers. Prior to the ambush, the attackers destroyed a telecommunication tool in an effort to paralyze communication as they carried out their heinous attack. Read more on International Christian Concern.
