Please Join Us Today in Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.

Who We’re Praying For Today

Introduction to prayers for Asian countries during the week of 8–14 March

The cost of following Christ is often high and immediate. In many countries in Asia and Central Asia, believers are physically attacked, their homes and businesses destroyed, and livestock and crops killed. They are also usually banned from their village. Often, these acts come at the hands of family, neighbors and local authorities who see conversion as a betrayal of the tribe and even nation.

Central Asia: Khan’s (anonymized) brothers viciously attacked him with a chainsaw one week after he was baptized. Pray for healing for his head and right arm.

Other Countries

Philippines: Pray for the bank accounts of missionaries in the Philippines after the Philippine government has frozen the bank accounts of a church organization for “probable cause,” saying they are “related to terrorism financing.”

The government’s Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) ordered a 20-day freeze on three of the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP) accounts with the Bank of the Philippine Islands. In December 2019, the AMLC also ordered the bank to submit details of related bank accounts and proposed the filing of a petition before the Court of Appeals to extend the freeze order to six months. Read more on International Christian Concern.

CENTRAL ASIA: THE KINGDOM ADVANCING

What do our brothers and sisters in Central Asia face in walking out their faith in Christ? A hard path filled with loss and persecution — but also a path filled with joy! Aaron Miller, who oversees the Voice of the Martyrs’ work there, discusses his meeting with and hearing the testimonies of our persecuted family in Central Asia, about how God’s Kingdom is advancing even in small steps, one conversation or one taxi ride at a time.
