Please Join Us Today in Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.

Who We’re Praying For Today

introduction to prayers for Sadia in Cameroon during the week of 15-20 March

Sadia (anonymized) is a Christian convert from Islam in Cameroon. Now 19 years old, Sadia became a Christian through the testimony of some friends and was secretly baptized in November 2017. When her family found out, they were very angry — forcing Sadia into hiding. In 2018, she was diagnosed with cancer and since then has faced two surgeries and aggressive chemotherapy. Today, she remains determined to follow Christ.

Cameroon: Thank God for the medical care Sadia is receiving. Pray that He would continue to provide for her and that He would heal her in His time.

Other Countries

India: Pray for Pastor Veerender Kumar and his house church that was forced to shut down in India’s Uttar Pradesh state after members of the Hindu Vahini group broke into the church on January 5 and issued death threats against the pastor. Unfortunately, this closure is part of a larger pattern where house churches are being harassed by radical Hindu nationalists and shut down by local government authorities. Read more on International Christian Concern.

In India, resistance to the gospel and to Christian missionary activity is very organized. Hindu nationalists all over India are watching for evangelism—and they are ready to persecute Christians. Several Indian states have passed anti-conversion laws, but church leaders say the laws aren’t stopping people from coming to faith in Christ In fact, in every state where an anti-conversion law has passed, the church is still growing.
