Please Join Us Today in Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.
Who We’re Praying For Today
India: Saba (anonymized) is a Christian widow and mother of three from a remote village in India. She’s part of a group of persecuted Christian women who set up a small dhaba (a cafeteria) to help them support their families. However, they are not able to earn a basic living from it yet. Open Doors’ partners in the field have connected with the women to help them renovate, as well as provide resources and direction to help increase profits and sustain their business.
Pray for these women to stand strong in their faith despite the challenges they face.
Kenya: Just over one month ago, al-Shabaab attacked a bus in Northern Kenya. During the attack, they removed the passengers and executed 11 that they found who were Christians. Then two weeks later, they attacked a bus in Coastal Kenya. This time the bus driver did not stop, so the assailants randomly fired into the bus killing three passengers. It was likely targeting Christians who were travelling home the day after Christmas. Pray for protection against al-Shabaab for Christians in Kenya. Read more on International Christian Concern.
