Please Join Us Today in Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.
Who We’re Praying For Today
#OFFG Community Members: Please continue to pray for Joseph Okongo’s brother who has a growth in his stomach which might be cancerous. Pray that God will work a mighty work and heal Joseph’s brother completely
Bangladesh: Please continue to pray for believers who are losing their homes to political leaders who lure poorer people to give up their land by deceiving them. Pray that God would confuse the deceivers’ plans and give discernment to believers.
Ethiopia: Pray for members of a church who were arrested in the city of Debark on November 3. The police made numerous arrests among the student congregation and group leadership. Under duress, those arrested signed forms stating that they would never meet again within Debark locality. Once they signed, they were immediately released. Some church leaders were held for a few days before being subjected to the same experience. Read more on International Christian Concern

ETHIOPIA: PERSECUTION PURIFIES
Brother Semeone is a church leader from Ethiopia — a country with a long Christian history, but where persecution can come from different directions, often beginning with members of a new convert’s own family. Learn some of the history of the church in Ethiopia — including how persecution and hardship have helped the gospel spread. “Persecution,” he says, “has its own way of purifying the church.”
