Please Join Us Today in Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.
Who We’re Praying For Today
Nepal: Pray for Sashita (anonymized), whose husband left her and their children when she became a Christian. Thank God for Open Doors partners who provided her a buffalo and a calf. She’s able to sell the milk to care for her family.
Iran: Pray for Mahrokh Kanbari, a 65-year old Iranian Christian, who has begun serving her one-year prison sentence for engaging in “propaganda against the system”. Read more on International Christian Concern.
NEPAL: THIS IS WHO GOD IS
A conversation with Michael Huff, who was leader of Operation Mobilization (OM) in Nepal and is now based in the US helping to mobilize Christians to take the gospel all over the world. Michael discusses how OM is working to raise up Christian workers and evangelists in Nepal, and some of the lessons Nepali Christians have taught him during his years of ministry there.
CHRISTIANS TREK TO MOUNTAINS TO BURY THEIR DEAD
IRAN: THE BIGGEST LOVE
Ali, a follower of Christ in Iran, and his family have experienced God’s rescue numerous times. First, God rescued Ali’s father from alcoholism. Then Jesus rescued Ali from drug addiction and hopelessness. They began to follow the God Who rescued them. But following Jesus in Iran is costly: persecution came quickly as Ali’s grandfather gave him one week to denounce Christ and return to Islam, or else.
