Please Join Us Today in Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.

Who We’re Praying For Today

India: Saba (anonymized) is a Christian widow and mother of three from a remote village in India. She’s part of a group of persecuted Christian women who set up a small dhaba (a cafeteria) to help them support their families. However, they are not able to earn a basic living from it yet. Open Doors’ partners in the field have connected with the women to help them renovate, as well as provide resources and direction to help increase profits and sustain their business.

Pray for Saba and the other women running the dhaba would be able to provide a good education for their children.

India: Pray for Pastor Mukam Kiraad and two other Christians in India’s Madhya Pradesh state who were arrested last month after being falsely accused of illegally practicing medicine. The foundation for the outrageous charge against the Christians was that they engaged in prayers for healing.

Pastor Kiraad’s church, the Filadelfia Fellowship Church in Vadi village, was reportedly attacked by tribal villagers radicalized by Hindu nationalists on December 10. When police arrived on the scene, they arrested the nine of the detained Christians and held them at the local police station for 10 hours. Read more on International Christian Concern.

An interview with Pastor Kumar from the All India Christian Council, who discusses the increase in Christian persecution in India. Kumar also discusses the “anti-conversion” laws, as well as sharing his own experience of persecution and death threats as he shared the gospel.
