Please Join Us Today in Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer to heal sickness, to provide for families, to surround believers with a hedge of protection, and to change lives for the better. God’s Word tells us that all believers can go boldly unto the throne of grace in times of need, whether those needs be our own or those of others. Please join us in praying for others around the world.
Who We’re Praying For Today
Introduction to prayers for Asian countries during the week of 8–14 March
The cost of following Christ is often high and immediate. In many countries in Asia and Central Asia, believers are physically attacked, their homes and businesses destroyed, and livestock and crops killed. They are also usually banned from their village. Often, these acts come at the hands of family, neighbors and local authorities who see conversion as a betrayal of the tribe and even nation.
Vietnam: Pray for safety for Thuan (anonymized) and his wife Hien (anonymized) in Vietnam. Local authorities are pressuring their families to convince them to leave the village.
Cambodia: Praise God for the release of Australian missionary Martin Chan, who was arrested in November while boarding a flight to Hong Kong. Chan has been released on bail amid a bitter legal dispute over the construction of a school. Family, friends, and supporters stood outside of a Phnom Penh court and greeted him with hugs as a bench of three judges announced their decision on February 7. SOUTHEAST ASIA: JESUS WAS WITH ME
Dr. Sid Webb and Dr. Jason Peters share stories from their 2016 visit to Southeast Asia, where they met with persecuted Christians in Southeast Asia. They heard first-hand about the persecution Christians face, and also saw how God is doing amazing things, such as concealing a secret Christian training center hiding in plain sight in Vietnam.
