Looking at the occupations of some of the more significant men in the Bible, there were those who were shepherds and those who were hunters or archers. Shepherds care for their flocks, lead them to green pasture and fresh water, and watch over them at night to protect them from foxes and other predators. Hunters and archers, on the other hand, are predators.

There are many professing believers who love the all-love Jesus but who don’t know the word of God. Yet, Jesus is the Word of God and he said that if anyone loves him, he will keep his words.
