CALLING ALL Muslims:
As an evangelist, a messenger of the eternal words of God, I have talked, personally, with countless followers of Islam, in person and online.
I do this day in and day out.
And so let’s settle the crux of the matter once and for all time …
Muslims ALWAYS say that they “honour” Jesus, as a prophet. But let’s demonstrate that they do no such thing:
- To acknowledge Jesus as a prophet, by definition, is to acknowledge that He was sent by God to speak the words of God, the words of truth.
- YET Muslims DENY Jesus’ words, even though He repeatedly states that the words He speaks are not His but the Father’s which sent Him.
- THUS they, in fact, DENY — that is, blaspheme — Jesus the Son AND God the Father who sent Jesus as a prophet, but, indeed, as more than a prophet. As the perfectly prophesied (throughout the Old Testament) Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Word of God, God manifest in the flesh (cf, John 1:1-14).
- Jesus rebukes the unbelieving “Jews” of His day for honouring Him with their lips while their hearts are far from Him. But we can see that this is EXACTLY what Muslims do as well.
- Further, Muslims — like unbelieving “Jews” — deny that Jesus is the Christ, despite the fact that countless Old Testament prophecies, again, perfectly and undeniably prove that He is the one and only perfect fulfillment of these prophecies, spoken and written by prophets of God who were likewise chosen by God to speak/write His words.
- THUS do Muslims — again, like unbelieving “Jews” — deny not only Jesus but ALL of the Old Testament prophets of God, every one of whom prophesied of Jesus’ coming.
- IN SUMMARY, Muslims (and unbelieving “Jews” and other unbelievers) blaspheme both the Father and the Son by DENYING: 1) who Jesus is, 2) Jesus’ words given to Him by the Father, and 3) Jesus’ works, most importantly, His work on the cross by way of which Jesus, alone, paid for the sins of the whole world, as the ONE and ONLY means that any of us can be forgiven and, thereby, saved from everlasting torment in the lake of fire and brimstone:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18).
