And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2:10)
Warning: A long, near-breathless paragraph, of necessity, follows.
From growing up eating fake (Aunt Jemima) “maple” syrup to eating fake butter deceitfully sold as heart-healthy margarine to drinking fake lemonade on hot summer days to likewise partaking of artificial sweeteners now known to be toxic, to coming of age in a fake Christian church which celebrates fake Christian (that is, pagan) “holy days” such as Easter (Ishtar) and Christmas during which a fake wise man who supposedly knew whether we’d been naughty or nice (only the one true living God is omniscient) came bearing gifts not to God as a means to glorify our one and only Messiah’s precious birth but, rather, gifts bought by our misdirected and misguided parents for their, in turn, misdirected and misguided children, right through to the fake (yet truly mass-murdering) wars said to be waged in response to a false (that is, fake)-flag terror event known as “9/11”, which was, in fact, perpetrated by the enemies of both God and the U.S. but who’ve seized power of that and all other fake nation-states worldwide — largely through: 1) their incessant exploitation of fake fiat currencies which they fraudulently create from nothing (much like the fake Big Bang abomination is said to have created all things from no-thing) and which underlie artificially controlled economies designed to pass through the likewise fraudulent “boom-bust” cycle whereby nation-states and their populations are controlled like Pavlovian dogs, led from one fake “recession” or “depression” to another at the international banksters’ satanic will, 2) their fake “global” news and anti-education systems, including the antichrist universities (undergrad through to doctoral and post-doc “research” programs), and 3) “expertified” science falsely so called, pushing the fake theory of evolution, fake medical research, fake (and Freemasonic) space programs including fake moon landings, fake “blue marble” photos of earth, etc. — not to mention the same power-wielding folks’ fake and every bit as insistent claims to be God’s “chosen people”, somehow “chosen” to spearhead fake refugee crises and to incessantly force down our throats the satanic tyranny of the LGBTQP[edophile]+ “love and tolerance” agenda (which neither knows nor embodies love or tolerance, but wholly the contrary), including “teaching” pre-, primary and secondary school students that they can choose to be a “boy” one day, a “girl” the next, or to fluidly “self-identify” as any imaginary point “existing” on the fake “gender” spectrum, when God, in fact, lovingly created us all in His image as either male or female. Our respective sex organs do not lie, nor are they a mistake. Please note the obvious: gender organs don’t exist! But the word gender, as it pertains to sex, is — like many of the foundational lies that have been foisted upon us all — a mere mental construct of those who forever deploy the very intangibility of words against us as a means to fill our unthinking noggins with impressive-sounding yet purely fictional mental garbage. And, yes, it’s not only way past time for us all to take out the trash, but also to perform an emergency system reboot — and this time to listen, with great care, to the unequivocal truths of God contained in His Word, rather than the utter foolishness and deliberate deceitfulness of man’s false (that’s right, fake) ideas concerning wisdom and all we blindly call knowledge (aka, science) and understanding. It turns out we all have great stores of faith, but most, unfortunately, direct theirs towards worshipping the idol of false knowledge of the sort propounded by antichrist “experts” and propped up by the blaring megaphones of the powers that be themselves propped up by principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (cf, Ephesians 6:12).
The above listing could go on forever.
In short, however, we live in a world that is chockablock with the fake, and the wicked.
But despite endless blanket statements concerning our living in an “enlightened” (read: Luciferian) age of Freemasonic “freedom” and “democracy”, the vast majority of “we the people” are, literally, hellbent — ourselves — on basking in the fakery, as well as in the wickedness that’s pervasive in this world, even if we’re everywhere virtue signaling with our token environmental concerns with “saving the planet”, recycling our rubbish (and mental garbage!), etc.
Spoiler Alert: The one true living God of the Bible long ago told us through His various prophets and through Jesus Christ that He — not “climate change” — will deliberately destroy this wicked world in His righteous wrath.
As we’re now living in the last times, that day is coming soon, far sooner than most care to consider. Accordingly, they will be cut off from the land of the living — and condemned for all eternity — when they least suspect it:
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)
Thus, we’d do well to redirect the foolish concerns of man to saving our own (and then others’) soul(s) from conscious eternal torment in hell as rightful and lawful payment for our ungodly sins, including, fundamentally, the sin of our rejecting the Father and His Son, who willingly gave His life as a once-and-for-all sacrifice as a means to, Himself, pay the sin debt of all those who place their faith on Him alone:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Up to and through my thirties I foolishly believed that if folk were provided with a veritable avalanche of evidence of the murderous and otherwise condemning lies of this world that such persons would reconsider things in light of these facts which wholly dispel various myths that we’ve all passively imbibed from the cradle through to the present and which most will carry with them to the grave.
But after many years of continuing to wake myself up to the reality of the fakery of this world, and trying my darnedest to likewise help others to awaken to the Mighty Wurlitzer of lies that are embedded within us all, I came to realize that there was a foundational assumption that I’d gotten dead wrong.
That is, I’d wholeheartedly (if ignorantly) assumed that most folk cared about truth.
And a corollary to that assumption, that they, like me, hated being lied to.
It’s taken decades now to finally, myself, awaken to the fact that this assumption and its corollary were wholly and utterly mistaken. Most folk, it turns out, willingly wrap themselves up in these lies, and will fight tooth and nail to keep themselves hermetically sealed within them, so as to “Keep calm and carry on”, a propaganda campaign produced by the British government in 1939 in preparation for the fakery which we now know as World War II, a continuation, in fact, of the fakery known as the Great War, or better yet, “the war to end all wars”. Yes, that was yet another lie by the powers that be hidden behind fake presidents and prime ministers which, like all ungodly whores, are only too happy to do Satan’s bidding, and on cue.
But it wasn’t until I’d come, truly, to Christ, after decades of atheism — having, like so many, long conflated the evil perpetrated by fake Christian churches with the true righteousness and mercy of Jesus Christ — that I came to understand far more fully why so many folk actively fight off truth in protection of unholy lies.
You may recall that I began this post with a quote from 2 Thessalonians. The below passage includes that same quote within the larger context which Paul wrote under the guidance of the Holy Spirit:
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12)
Not only does the above passage foretell of the coming of the Antichrist — the fake messiah, that is — but it also tells us why the overwhelming majority of mankind will not only accept this puppet of Satan as the leader of the one world government with its one world religion and one world currency that is very soon to subsume this world, but will also bow down to and worship this satanic beast who will come promising “peace”.
Fake peace, that is. So fake that this “peace” will immediately thereafter bring about God’s wrath:
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
But the Bible tells us — and my decades of life experience in this world likewise attests — that most folk will lap up the lies of the Antichrist, just as they’ve lapped up the lies of Donald Trump, Barack Hussein Obama II, George W. Bush (and his father George H.W., who promised the emergence of this new world order), the Clinton duo, Tony Blair, David Cameron and Theresa May, not to mention Karl Marx, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (aka, Lenin), Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Mao Tse-tung, and, indeed, Winston Churchill and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. As with the previous listing of ubiquitous fakery, this much-abbreviated list of liars and mass murderers could likewise go on indefinitely.
It’s important to realize that the fake “Christian” churches — along with the leaders of all false religions (e.g., Catholicism, Orthodox “Christianity”, great swathes of Protestantism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism; cf, John 14:6 for the one true means of salvation from the otherwise inevitable eternal condemnation that God, who cannot lie, promises) — will carry to fruition their shared ages old agenda to steer their respective flocks of duped followers straight into the arms of the Antichrist and, thereby, seal their fate:
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:9-11)
If you’re not saved by God’s grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ, then I implore you to read, reread and study out the above passage from the Book of Revelation, the final book of the Bible.
Once you’ve taken that fully on board, I’d like to draw your attention to the latter part of the larger passage from 2 Thessalonians quoted earlier and, for your convenience, immediately below:
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
For it is in this passage that God, via His Word, shows us that all that perish (that is, who are damned to eternal condemnation in a literal fiery hell) have, in their unrighteousness, deceived themselves “because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved”.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
There we see, ever so clearly, why most folk have wrapped themselves up in the world’s lies, ever ready to pounce upon or simply ignore anyone who tries to bring them — for their own good — either to the true Light of Jesus Christ or even to truths concerning this largely God-forsaking (yet not yet forsaken) world.
As a final consideration, I’ll leave with you an equally crucial passage from John Chapter 3 which aligns perfectly with the above from Paul’s second epistle to the Thessalonians:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3:16-21)
Just as we saw in 2 Thessalonians that the perpetually (and willingly self-)deceived have pleasure in unrighteousness, John likewise shows us, immediately above, that all those who are condemned because of their unbelief in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil.
My hope and prayer in writing this post is two-fold.
Firstly, I hope that this will help those of you who, like us at The Good Shepherd, are on the front lines of trying, in these end times, to help God draw as many as possible to Himself through the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ to better understand the very root of why a great many folk are so reluctant to acknowledge let alone embrace the truth. And secondly, that I might perhaps help even the (willingly self-)deceived to see why they, themselves, are so bitter towards the truth, so that they might — if, that is, their persistent rejection of God has yet to make them(selves) reprobate — turn from ungodliness to come, truly, to Christ.
If, on the other hand, their rejection of God has finally tipped the balance such that God has given them over to a reprobate mind, their cause, God tells us in His own Word, is lost:
Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them. (Jeremiah 6:30)
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Romans 1:28)
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. (2 Timothy 3:8)
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (Titus 1:16)
Which is why it’s of utmost importance to recognize that today is the day of salvation. As tomorrow might be too late, even if you’re still walking in this present world.
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) (2 Corinthians 6:1-2)
